POSITION: Systems Support Technician, (1 Full-time Position)
LOCATION: Communications/IT Program, Clinton , OK

Description of Work:
Candidate will be providing basic support of hardware, applications, operating systems and general networking. This level requires a basic knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of technologies to effectively support clients’ technical needs. Candidate will handle technical related issues via phone, e-mail or walk-in and resolves issues related to desktop resources. Install, troubleshoot, repair, implement, and manage desktop resources such as desktops, laptops, printers, fax machines, copiers, scanners and manage inventories.
Candidate will be interacting with a broad range of users and as such will require strong communication skills and ability to use a variety of technical resources for providing technical support. Candidate may refer complex technical problems or questions to higher-level IT staff.
Essential Functions:

- Installs and tests computer hardware, applications, operating systems and general networking
- Provides technical assistance to employees relating to installation problems
- Provides basic technical support and answers questions and provides information via the help desk or in person
- Troubleshoots hardware and equipment problems and corrects or calls appropriate service organizations; may perform minor repairs
- Maintain workstations, network printers, and copiers to provide general support at Concho, Clinton, Watonga, Geary, El Reno and Canton locations
- Troubleshoots network issues
- Assists with maintenance of network diagrams and equipment inventory
- Enforces and implements policies and procedures as set forth by the Systems Support Manager
- Assists any IT personnel as needed
- Report to Systems Support Manager
