***VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT***

 

Position:          Field Supervisor, Farm and Ranch/Buffalo

 

Location:        Concho

 

ISSUE DATE: September 3, 2008                    CLOSING DATE: continuous    

 

Duties:            Supervisor is under the direct supervision of the Farm/Buffalo Manager. He/she is responsible for the day to day operations, and over sight of program Projects. He/she will assist labors with any and all field work. He/She is responsible for documenting and reporting accidents and /or incidents. Field Supervisor will document and report employee misconduct and/or recklessness of Tribal property and Program property. He/she will be delegated signature authority, in absence of Farm Manager. Immediate emergencies will be handled by Supervisor, if Manager is not available. Supervisor shall complete daily tasks in a timely manner.  Any other duties assigned.

 

DOCUMENTATION AND RECORD KEEPING

·        Herd health and feeding

·        Maintaining fence

·        Mileage and Maintenance of Program vehicles

·        Maintenance and care of Program equipment

·        Inventory of program property

·        Assist with materials and supplies as needed

·        Job duties

·        Any other duties assigned exc……

 

Qualifications:

 

·        Knowledgeable in farm or ranching operation

·        Must be dependable,

·        Must be physically fit and lift a minimum of 75 lbs. and more

·        College preferred , emphasis in Agriculture studies

·        Experience of 5yrs or more

·        High school diploma or GED

·        Oklahoma Driver’s license

·        MUST PASS PRE-HIRE DRUG SCREENING

 

SALARY: Negotiable
