MAJOR DUTIES: The primarily responsibilities of the Laborer will be to provide manual labor and assistance in completing project tasks involving general repair duties, ground maintenance and various types of manual labor. The laborer will also be responsible for performing a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled manual labor, general repair duties in ground maintenance, and tasks involving general mechanic or building trades. Other duties included will be mowing lawns, trimming trees and shrubs, planting flowers, and picking up trash, hauling trash, and other duties as assigned.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for cutting grass, weeds, trees and brush; cleans culverts, drains and ditches; moves, loads, unloads, and hauls materials and trash.
  • Responsible for digging post holes and ditches; mows lawns, trims shrubs rakes grass and trash, sweeps walkways; pickup chips, branches, and trash.
  • Performs general clean-up and occasional custodial duties.
  • Perform general maintenance, loading and unloading of construction materials.
  • Operates light weight equipment-chipper, hedge trimmers, chain saws, lawn mowers and lawn edgers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have High School Diploma or GED and current Driver’s License. .
  • Must have stable work history, be dependable and conscientious.
  • Must be physically fit to withstand various types of manual labor.
  • Prefer knowledge of landscaping-planting flowers and shrubs.
  • Ability and knowledge to operate light weight equipment.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs. Must have painting experience.
  • Ability to accept immediate employment. Must submit to background check.
  • Must have knowledge in performing general repair duties.
