GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Under the direct supervision of Department Supervisor, incumbent shall be responsible for maintaining and reconciling a cage bank. Incumbent will comply with all policies and procedures of the casino as well as the personnel policies.

MAJOR DUTIES:

The primarily responsibilities of the Laborer will be to provide manual labor and assistance in completing project tasks involving general repair duties, ground maintenance and various types of manual labor. The laborer will also be responsible for performing a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled manual labor, general repair duties in ground maintenance, and tasks involving general mechanic or building trades. Other duties included will be mowing lawns, trimming trees and shrubs, planting flowers, and picking up trash, hauling trash, and other duties as assigned.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Incumbent must perform assigned duties in highly interruptive conditions and constant time pressures and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Incumbent must also understand that unexpected business circumstances could alter the shift schedule as well as add additional unforeseen duties.
  • Incumbent must wear uniform prescribed by management and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Assist customers as needed.
  • Responsible for maintaining and reconciling a cage bank.
  • Responsible for processing of customer payouts.
  • Must be able to work evenings/nights, weekends and Holidays and must be able to fill in for other Cage Cashiers as needed.
  • Any other miscellaneous duties, as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality on all department matters.

  • Must conduct oneself in a professional and efficient manner during interaction with people.
  • Be able to perform duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
  • High School Graduate or GED Certification.
  • Current Driver’s License and dependable transportation.

REQUIREMENTS

Must hold or be able to obtain a valid Gaming License.

  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening test.
  • Indian Preference
